Give Thanks…
Yesterday was just like any other normal days, i took a cab home after work. But it was a day that i will never forget. e cab i took met with an accident just a few kilometers away from my home. e cab was waiting for e red light to turn green, & all of a sudden there is this loud "bang" from behind & e cab moved & hit e can in e front… basically my cab was being sandwiched. I was thrown to the "front"….. Thank God i was still with my seat belt if not i wonder where will i be. e 3 owners got out of their vehicle & started to take down each others particulars, leaving me in e cab…. din really had any pains then therefore i din pursue e matter….
While i was walking towards e lift lobby, i suddenly feel a sharp pain on my neck… but i decide to ignore it… e pain was so sharp when i get into my home & letting my bags down… mum & dad were so worried that they decided to send me to A&E @ Changi Hospital. In e meantime, i also get to know from my bro that he was being knocked down by a cab @ a zebra crossing that morning when he was cycling his way to work. Though he landed on his head but there was no signs of concussion …. Praise e Lord…. only had a cut on his eye brow (7stitches) + broken lips (2 stitches) + a chipped tooth + a swollen right eyes w a few scratches here & there. Really thank e Lord for his protection… if not my bro might still b in hospital rather than b @ home. Dad stayed home to look after bro & mum acc me to CGH in e end…..
When i reached CGH, it was not very crowded therefore i only waited for about 15mins before my turn. e doctor took down a statement bout e accident (in case i filing a police report to make claims) & started to examine my neck portion….. Thank God its only over stretched of muscle due to e "impact" & e doc says it will take about a week for me to fully recover…. he gave mi some pain killers & a day of mc… after collecting my medicine & making payment, mum & i headed home in a bus (still got that scary feeling)….
